This Week's Baby Classic is an Enigma....Literally

When a hit song turns 25 years old it is officially of age to be called a "classic hit". When they are new to this classification, they are just cute little baby classics! This week's baby classic is.....

Enigma,"Return to Innocence" (1994)

The definition of enigma is a person or thing that is mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand. And I’ve got to say, that perfectly describes the way I feel about today’s baby classic.

I didn’t know this….but the group Enigma is actually a German musical project founded in 1990 by Romanian-German musician and producer Michael Cretu

The music project, Enigma, released three songs in the ‘90s, two reached Billboard charts Top 10, and “Return to Innocence”, their biggest hit, stayed on the chart for 13 weeks and peaked at #4 in May of 1994.

This mysterious, puzzling and beautifully difficult to understand HIT just turned 25 this week……your Baby Classic is Enigma’s “Return to Innocence”.
