Here's a fresh take on ugly Christmas sweaters.........meet ugly Christmas shoes!
Not only did I want to do something different, but in Florida, it is often too hot for those big sweaters.This is a great craft to do with the whole family. Grab an old (or inexpensive) pair of shoes and a hot glue gun. Anything goes! I got out last year's gift wrapping leftovers and found pipe cleaners, bells, little trees, ribbons and little reindeer. Whenever I'm shopping at craft stores I always check the clearance section. I have gotten beads, charms, ribbon for less than $1 each....some even as low as 29 cents! I used regular glue for the snow and white craft paint around the empty areas.
The shoes in this post were under $7 from Walmart, but you can use old shoes, sandals, etc. Please post your pics so I can see what you create!
